William Yerman

One of the most dynamic professionals in Maryland Real Estate over the last two decades, Billy Yerman has made a lifetime out of the safe transfer of real property. He is a past president of the Maryland Land Title Association and of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. In his long career Billy was CEO of Fountainhead Title and The Strata Group, an organization that encompassed a residential real estate firm, two title companies, a mortgage group, and a personal finance company. In addition to his business pursuits, Billy has given back to the community as a passionate advocate for the next generation by serving on the Board of Trustees of Garrison Forest School and as a past Chairman of the Board of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland. Billy is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, and the University of Maryland School of Law.

Jerry Sopher

If experience is strength you could search low and high and still never find a title executive with Jerry Sopher’s broad shoulders. His career began in 1965 and, so far, has spanned about five decades and more than 49,000 commercial and residential closings. He founded Continental Title Company, Inc., predecessor to the current CTG, in June, 1975. Mr. Sopher’s firms have handled transactions for McDonald’s Corporation, Southern Land Company, Turner Development Company, Leimbach Builders, David Gonzales Companies, and numerous other builders and developers. He has worked with many title enterprises, including: Security Title Guarantee Corporation, Stewart Title Guaranty Company, First American Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land Title and Chicago Title Insurance Company. Sopher has also represented numerous lenders including, The Sparks State Bank, Mercantile Bank, PNC Bank, Bay Vanguard Federal Savings Bank, The Federal Land Bank of Baltimore, Farm Credit Bank, First Mariner Bank, Baltimore County Savings Bank, Peoples Bank of Glen Rock, Glen Rock State Bank, Regal Bank, Advance Bank, The Harbor Bank of Maryland, Columbia Bank, M&T Bank and others.

Kathleen C. Gibison

Kathleen ‘KC’ Gibison has a long history with CTG. She joined our predecessor, Continental Title Company, Inc., in early 2002. Over the years, in addition to conducting settlements, Ms. Gibison provides legal counsel to clients in matters involving real estate, tax, and estate planning. She negotiates and prepares contracts of sale and leases for both commercial and residential real estate. KC also drafts condominium and homeowners’ association documents. Another one of KC’s specialties is drafting loan documents since she has represented numerous lending institutions and individual lenders. KC also advises clients about business matters such as the selection and formation of entities, including partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. Ms. Gibison also assists clients with their personal business such as estate planning documents including wills and powers of attorney. KC graduated cum laude from Towson State University and earned her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, and furthered her tax law education and understanding at University of Miami. KC currently oversees the daily operations of Continental Exchange, Inc. She has been an active volunteer with the Junior League of Baltimore for more than a decade.

Stuart C. Resnick

Mr. Resnick has handled commercial real estate transactions for some of the region’s most prominent builders and developers for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Continental Title Group, Stuart managed RGS Title, LLC’s Builder/Commercial Division and served as that company’s Central Maryland Regional Director. Stuart has also been recognized as an expert in Real Estate matters by the Circuit Court of Baltimore County, Maryland, the Circuit Court of Howard County, Maryland, and in the United States Bankruptcy Court.

James D. (Jady) Fisher

For more than 25 years Jady Fisher has worked in the Title Insurance industry. He started his career in Pennsylvania in 1983. In 1985 he moved to Maryland to join CTG’s predecessor, Continental Title Company, Inc. By 1989 he was named Vice President. Jady continues a diverse practice of real estate law. His work includes transactions involving: Developers, shopping center owners, syndicators, low-income housing tax credit projects, residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use real estate development projects, affordable housing tax credit transactions, HOPE VI public housing projects, HUD 202 transactions, HUD IRP payment transactions, HUD/FHA financing, FNMA/FMAC financing, tax-exempt bond financing, mark to market refinancing, Local, State and Federal financing, multi-tiered mezzanine finance transactions, apartment complexes, assisted living, nursing care, and national health care facilities, multi-generational housing, conventional and land condominium projects and religious organization projects.

Cailin Quinn

Cailin Quinn is the very essence of an experienced and tenured title professional. She has plied her craft for nearly 30 years working as an underwriter for stellar organizations such as First American Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Title Insurance Company/Landamerica, Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation and Real Estate Title Company. At CTG, she develops and executes business development strategies and handles commercial underwriting and escrow activities throughout Maryland. A graduate of Loyola University, Cailin resides in the Baltimore area.


Kelly Burke

For more than ten years, Kelly Burke has been a title professional handling complex real estate transactions for regional real estate developers, commercial brokers, lenders, and local residential agents. Prior to joining Continental Title Group, Ms. Burke was the President & CEO of Kenilworth Title in Towson, Maryland. During her tenure at Kenilworth Title, Ms. Burke managed the closing of transactions totaling more than 700 Million Dollars including residential sales and refinancing, complex tax-exempt bond issues, and development acquisitions. As part of the CTG team, Ms. Burke is responsible for developing CTG’s commercial and residential client base as well as uncovering new opportunities for expansion of the corporate enterprise.

Peter Burstein

Another one of the many real estate lawyers who lead CTG, Peter Burstein has practiced the craft for more than 10 years. Prior to CTG he was with the well-regarded firm, Tydings & Rosenberg, LLP in Baltimore City where corporate law occupied his time as much as real estate. Peter is also passionate about social justice: He is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc. (CHAI), an agency of the Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. He is a past Chairman of CHAI’s Homeownership and Loan Committee and currently serves as the Vice Chair of CHAI’s Housing Management Committee. In addition to that he is Vice President of Weinberg Senior Housing. Peter sits on the Board of Directors of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors. He is a member of the bar for both Maryland and Virginia.
